About Us

I am a mommy of two miracle babies, a wife to a wonderful man, and a midwife to San Juan and Grand Counties in Southeastern Utah. We are Seventh Day Adventists and truth seekers. Our last child was born at home unassisted, we co-sleep, breastfeed (I do, anyways lol), homeschool, and try to raise our children the best way that we know how under the guidance of our instincts and direction from Yahweh.

Our goal is to be completely off-grid and self sufficient some day very soon. We want to supply ALL of our food, be free of dependence on municipal water and electricity, and have an alternative source of fuel for our vehicles. To not sit around and wait for the government to feed us, water us, clothe us and medically treat us in the inevitable collapse of the world as we know it and the End Times. Not only do we feel that this will be a better quality life for our children and our family as a whole, bringing us closer together and closer to God, but we are given instruction that a time is coming very soon that will be a time of trouble, followed by a greater time of trouble. The Bible tells us this. As does the prophecy of Ellen White, and just a glance at the state of our country tells me it could quite possibly happen in our lifetime. We choose to obey Gods instruction for our safety and refuse to stand by in ignorance and watch our children suffer and die as a result.

We want to run a small homestead that provides not only our own needs but that supplies our area with Raw honey, raw milk, homemade cheeses, butter, and preserves. We want to sell eggs, free range poultry, rabbits, and grass fed beef. We want to sell pumpkins in fall and sell veggies and fruit all summer long. We will soonbe in Alaska and we hope to also provide these rare treasures to the peopel in the remote arctic villages. This is the life we see before us.

So this blog will be about our life. our children, our animals, about homeschool, about self sufficiency. About health and about food. Follow our journey, take what you like and leave the rest.
